BELUGA GROUP presents a new limited collection of still wines, Golubitskoe Estate Noble Selection

22
march 2021

Super-premium vintage wines Golubitskoe Estate Noble Selection are made from Golubitskoe Estate's 2016 first harvest grapes grown on dedicated vineyards and collected by hand. The collection will be available exclusively through the HoReCa channel at iconic restaurants of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The collection consists of three wines: a Cabernet Sauvignon and two Chardonnays. Noble Selection Cabernet Sauvignon spends 12 months in French oak barrels and at least 24 months in bottles. Noble Selection Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by battonage, the stirring the sediment from the bottom during the aging to improve the wine's structure and flavor. Noble Selection Chardonnay Barrel Touch is fermented in French oak. After the battonage, it is aged for at least one year in oak barrels and for at least two years in bottles in the winery's cellars.

The limited collection consists of 1,400 to 1,700 bottles of each flavor.

The line will be expanded with Noble Selection Pinot Noir Rose 2020 in spring, while Noble Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 and Noble Selection Red Blend 2018 made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir will be added to it in fall.

About Golubitskoe Estate

The Golubitskoe Estate winery joined the BELUGA GROUP in 2018. It is located on Golubitskaya Strelka, a narrow strip of land between the Sea of Azov and the Akhtanizovsky Liman freshwater lake. The winery makes its premium quality wines from such classic grape varieties as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Riesling, which have been brought from Italy and Austria in 2009 and are cultivated on an area of 231 hectares. Golubitskaya Strelka is a registered geographical area for wines with protected designation of origin. This status guarantees that the wines marked with that location are made only from grapes grown there. Golubitskoe Estate's still wines are available in three categories: Classic, Reserve, and Noble Selection.
