Tullamore D.E.W.

Tullamore D.E.W. is a blended Irish whiskey with a soft, well-balanced, mellow taste. The distillery was founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy in the town of Tullamore near Dublin.
After Michael's death in 1887, the business was passed on to his descendant Bernard Daly and started growing rapidly. Daniel E. Williams, who later became an equal partner in the distillery and a key figure in the brand's history, was appointed general manager. His initials D.E.W remain part of brand name to this day.
Tullamore D.E.W. is a blend of three types of whiskey: single malt, grain, and pot still, the latter of which is made exclusively in Ireland from malted and ungerminated green barley.
The blended drink is aged in oak casks, which results in a soft taste and vibrant flavor.
