The Balvenie

The Balvenie: the most handcrafted Single Malt Scotch whisky.

The Balvenie is a range of single malt whiskies crafted by Malt Master David C. Stewart.

Each expression is unique, but all are rich, luxuriously smooth and underpinned by a distinctive honeyed character.

The Balvenie distillery uses five unique crafts of whisky production. Nowhere else will you find a distillery that still grows its own barley, still malts in its own traditional floor malting, still has coopers to tend the casks, a coppersmith to tend the stills and has the legendary longest-serving Malt Master in the industry to work at the distillery.

Prize-winning collection

The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Years Old
The Balvenie DoubleWood gains its complex yet rich and smooth taste and distinctive character from being matured in two different wood types. Maturation starts in traditional whisky casks and then the whisky is moved to European oak sherry casks. This is how the signature honey and vanilla flavour of The Balvenie DoubleWood is crafted.
